The Saint of the Week is Amy Blackwell, a first grade teacher at Taylor Elementary School. She has taken our daughter in and loved her as her own. Mrs. Blackwell restored self-esteem and confidence in our child. She lives true to her calling and is a daily blessing to our family. You are an amazing teacher. We are forever in your debt. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication.
I would like to nominate Mr. Pat at Lake Forest Middle Sshool as Saint of the Week. He has a true heart for all his students. You never see him without a smile on his face. He loves what he does and it shows. Thanks for all your hard work and dedication. You have a "grand champion" heart of gold!
You will never find a better school than Blue Springs Elementary. My oldest child was a student at a high-quality Cleveland school in 1999. That year all cross-zoners and county tuition students were required to return to their schools of origin due to low attendance and merging classes. We had to enroll our daughter at Blue Springs where we are zoned. I found out the meaning of "appearances can be deceiving." On the outside, the school is one of the older and smaller buildings in Cleveland, but what takes place inside is second to none. Upon opening the door and looking inside you will find some of the most creative, gifted and compassionate faculty and staff members employed on one campus. My oldest daughter's teacher immediately tapped into her interests and set her on a path toward academic excellence. The next two teachers followed suit and her t-cap scores increased. By the seventh grade she was honored at Vanderbilt University as a Duke University TIP scholar for her ACT scores. Now I have two more children at Blue Springs whose teachers have again set them on an educational journey to success. My son struggled with reading as he entered first grade, but just a few weeks from the end of school, he is in the highest reading group in his class. Between my three children we have had nearly every teacher and assistant that Blue Springs has to offer, and each one of them has demonstrated the highest creativity and giftedness. Equally important, they possess a unique desire to treat children as individuals and help them find their potential and reach for it daily. If you are looking for a school of excellence, just take a short drive down Blue Springs Road. Admire the beautiful landscaping and sit by the frog pond a minute, but be sure to open the door and walk inside. You'll be glad you did. A Proud Blue Springs Parent
the two ladies i spoke with at volunteer electric co. on Thursday night during the power outage. you were both very nice and helpful about how long the power would be out and i'm sure you had taken hundreds of phone calls that night. you both did a great job in providing good customer service and i appreciated the information you were able to give me.

i want to nominate the creep of the century goes to the person who owened a bussiness that left owing people money for birthday parties and left owing his employees money, after they ran your bussiness for you, while you were on your so called trips with poor old granma, we know what you were really doing and it will all come out.
To the officer of the law that lives in a restricted subdivision which means it has laws to live by. Your home is an eyesore! You need to clean up your act and garbage that sits all over your driveway and backyard. Your house is one of the first ones when people come in the neighborhood. You ever heard of blinds on livingroom windows? You need some-- Shame on so-called cops that enforce the law but don't follow the law--You make the police force look bad.
The person I thought was a friend. I was babysitting for her and her husband, when I found out that she and my husband were having an affair. They both say that it was just a one time deal, which I don't believe. I am not sure if I want to tell her husband and let her suffer like I have or just keep it to myself because of their little girl. Do they not have some kind of moral code that they would have to go by? I hope that when other people read this that they keep an eye open because this could happen to them. I have been taught a lesson ...Just remember to keep your enemies close, BUT keep your friends even closer.
The creep of the week goes out to the mother who was playing with her little girl at Deer Park. The mother and her child were going down the slide together and apparently the little girls diaper gave way because a big brown streak followed her down the slide! The mother looked embarrassed, picked the girl up, got in her car and left! The embarrassing part shouldn't have been the little girl had and accident, it should have been that you just LEFT IT THERE FOR OTHER KIDS TO SLIDE THROUGH!!! If people have to clean up after their pets in the park, what makes you think you shouldn't clean up after your child!!! I am a nurse and do you have any idea what kind of germs live in feces!!! Bottom line is if you can't clean up after your kid, don't take them into public places, or better yet don't have them!
The woman in scrubs picking her child up at school. I cannot believe how you treated your kid. When you get out of the car, walk around to the back passenger seat and BERATE your child in public. you have anger issues! I hope the scrubs weren't an indication that you work with the sick or elderly...I wouldn't let you watch my dog!
